AE Rock Attack™ Rear Axle Housing (Replaces Meus Isokinetic Axle Housing)

The Meus Isokinetic axle housing has proven to be a great product, however AE thought it could be better suited for competition rigs with a few slight improvements. This axle housing is a direct replacement for the Meus Isokinetic +5mm Rear Axle Housing. All other parts are a direct swap and NOT included (e.g. bearings, gears, axle shafts).

Internal clearances not tested with other gear sets besides the Meus gears included with the isokinetic axle set and therefore fitment is not guaranteed. It is not necessary to use the small rubber O-rings that are commonly included with worm gear and ring gear sets. DO NOT over-tighten screws. There may be some additional friction if assembled too tightly.

This AE-designed axle housing allows the driver to benefit from:

• Offset axle tubes - Same, 7mm diameter main tubes, but these tubes are raised up 1mm so that the axle shaft rides nearer the bottom side of the axle tube (as seen in 1:1 competition rock crawling axles).
• Shaved differential cover - 1.5mm was trimmed from the bottom of the third member for improved ground clearance. Equivalent ground clearance gain of running a 3mm larger tire. All differential covers are printed in black.
• Incorporated Rear Link Riser
• Incorporated Pinion Guard - No need to buy and bolt on an additional pinion guard, it's built into the third member. This part helps the rear axle slide up and over obstacles so that you get hung up less and clear gates more!
• Grease / "Inspection" Port - for a touch of added scale realism a relatively large M3 inspection port was added which can be used for greasing the ring gear.
• Light Weight (8g) - Printed on a Bambu Labs X1 Carbon from PETG filament the axle housing and differential cover weigh half of what the metal OEM axle housing assembly weighs. This improves your forward weight bias which is highly desirable.
