SCX24 Battery Tray "Fuel Cell"

A newly-designed battery tray is now available and smaller than previously released. New U.ROCK Buggy orders have been shipping with this updated battery tray. If you have one of the older U.ROCK Buggies (you had to drill and tap your shock holes) then you may want to consider upgrading to this tray which has a smaller overall footprint, but same mounting size. 

This battery tray is not only for U.ROCK buggies. It also works great on GECKO24's and any other SCX24 where there is ample room to mount a battery on the upper suspension links. AE recommends securing ONLY ONE SIDE of the tray with Shoe Goo II to the rear, upper links. After curing the mount will be completely solid and still allow your suspension links to cycle independently and will not limit flex in any way.

The battery is often the single heaviest component of a rig, mounting it as low as possible, centerline and keeping the majority of the weight "un-sprung" is often the most desirable.

Two 3/4" rubber bands are also included to aid in securing electronics. However, no other additional items are included with this tray. A decal sheet with multiple "Fuel Cell" designs can be purchased separately.

If you have the larger, old-style decal sheets already- try skillfully trimming those to fit the new, smaller footprint. Results should still be acceptable.
